Dip NZVN RVN
Veterinary Nurse

I have always wanted to work with and for animals. Before I became a vet nurse I worked for Hearing Dogs for deaf people. I began working for St Aubyn Vet in 2007, and completed my Diploma of Vet nursing from Otago Polytechnic in 2009, During my studies, I developed a passion for animal behavior and nutrition.

I enjoy being a vet nurse because I can go to work, and something different happens every day! I enjoy working with animals and helping educate owners.

At home, I have a dog and cat – Lucie is a Golden Retriever X Labrador she loves to meet other dogs and show off how fast she can run. Kelly-May is a little moggie cat who’s life didn’t start out well, she was a tiny kitten brought into the clinic freezing, wet and near death. Our vets worked some wonderful magic and she survived to tell the tale.  My Pets are important members of my family. When not at work or playing with my four-legged friends, I am on some sports field playing tennis, netball or soccer.
